"...Thy God shall stand by thee forever and ever. If thou art called to pass through tribulation; if thou art in perils among false brethren; if thou art in perils among robbers; if thou art in perils by land or by sea... And if thou shouldst be cast into a pit, or into the hands of murderers, and the sentence of death passed upon thee; if thou be cast into the deep; if the billowing surge conspire against thee; if fierce winds become thine enemy; if the heavens gather blackness, and all the elements combine to the hedge up the way; and above all, if the very jaws of hell shall gape open the mouth wide after thee, know thou... that all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good... Thy days are known and thy years shall not be numbered less; therefore, fear not what man can do, for God shall be with you forever and ever."
When life comes at you, please know that they come with purpose, and they are for our good, despite the difficulties and challenges that will come. Life is difficult, but I believe that without this, it would not be worth living. If life were easy, we wouldn't know the good and the bad to appreciate the good times. We must take the difficult things and learn what must be learned from the experience, and grow as individuals.
I took that scripture from Doctrine and Covenants section 122.
This month has been a good month, but life continues to be challenging. I am continuing onward and learning how to balance life on my shoulders. I have learned to let go and let God handle things for me. He does a pretty great job of handling things when I trust in Him.
I know that He cares about my needs, and I know that anything that I go through, He can help me through, and that I cannot do it alone. I need my Savior's help to get through life. It is through the Atonement of Christ that I can make it through life.
Thank you for reading my thoughts for today. I hope you enjoyed them somewhat. I will try to write again soon. Happy Tuesday.
